Non Conflict Minerals Policy - Armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries in Africa, known for not purchasing or using conflict metals, have caused many social and environmental problems through metal mining and trade, including human rights violations and armed violence, sparking international controversy.

This type of metal mineral is tantalum (Ta), tin (Tin, Sn), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), and gold (Au).

The above-mentioned metals from DRC and adjacent conflict areas are called conflict minerals.

As a corporate citizen, JETACON supports the Conflict Free Procurement Initiative (CFSI) established by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSi) to defend human rights and mitigate armed conflicts in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its neighboring countries, Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative).

And announce the conflict free metal policy on the official website, fulfilling social responsibility.

We promise:

1. Do not purchase conflict metals produced in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries.

2. Require our suppliers not to use conflict metals from conflict areas. If it comes from a conflict zone, it must be produced from conflict free minerals verified by a third party. If conflict minerals are unintentionally used in our company's products, we must be notified immediately to take necessary measures.

3. Our company also conducts due diligence on the metal sources of our suppliers.

We use CFSI's Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) as the survey form, requiring suppliers to disclose the source of minerals and sign a conflict free mineral commitment letter, hoping that our suppliers will jointly comply with the policy of conflict free minerals. Through responsible procurement management, we ensure that our and our suppliers' procurement sources do not come from conflict areas and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
